We had a mixed experience at Peace River RV & Camping Resort. On the positive side, the cleanliness of the facilities was impressive, and the fossil hunting was a fantastic adventure. However, we encountered significant noise issues from traffic and neighbors that affected our stay. The process for getting settled in was also frustrating and could be improved.
We stayed in a large RV spot, but the surrounding noise was disruptive.
While the staff eventually addressed our concerns and helped us move to a quieter location, the initial experience regarding mail delivery was frustrating.
The park is quite isolated with little to do in the surrounding area, which can be a disadvantage if you're looking for activities.
The facilities, including the pool and fossil hunting area, were clean and enjoyable, but the laundry facilities had several machines out of service.

My stay at the campground was somewhat mixed. While there were activities that I enjoyed, the facilities and infrastructure left much to be desired. Updates are definitely needed, as the campground felt more rundown than a vacation spot. Additionally, the noise from truck traffic made it hard to relax and get a good night's sleep.
The sites were quite basic and not well-maintained, which made for an unpleasant experience, especially with mud in some areas.
The staff was somewhat helpful, but the after-hours check-in instructions were confusing and inadequate.
Unfortunately, the campground is located near a busy road, which made it noisy at night due to truck traffic.
The lack of updated facilities was disappointing as many sites did not provide sewer connections, which should be standard.

I stayed in the 'A' section of the campground tucked under the trees, which was quite nice. The amenities were lacking though, especially the inconvenient dump station and noisy nearby highway. Overall, it was a decent experience but with several drawbacks, particularly for families with kids due to safety concerns.
The site I chose was under a lovely canopy of trees, which made it feel serene. However, the lack of adequate options for sewer and 50amp next to the highway was a downside.
The overall service was just okay; the staff could have been more accommodating, especially regarding some amenities being closed.
The campground's location was mixed. I loved being among the trees, but the constant noise from the busy highway was quite bothersome.
The facilities were lacking, especially the pool, which was small and not very inviting. The laundry room required a code for entry, which felt inconvenient.

Our stay at the cabins was wonderful, perfect for a peaceful retreat by the river. The staff were incredibly nice, which made our experience more enjoyable. However, the high water levels meant we couldn't do any fossil hunting, and seeing some guests stick to their trailers was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, we loved our time here and plan to return; just bring your adventurous spirit if you're not used to alligators and snakes!
The cabins were just the right size for glamping, clean and comfortable.
The staff was very nice and accommodating.
The location by the Peace River was beautiful, ideal for a getaway.
We didn't get to try the Thanksgiving dinner but heard it sounded amazing; Materz Steakhouse was a highlight for us.
Overall, the park had a nice community feel, and the music on Saturday night added a great spirit.

I had mixed feelings about my stay. While the campground offered beautiful surroundings and a clean environment, the service left much to be desired. Access issues and limited amenities overshadowed the experience, making it less enjoyable than I had hoped.
The lots were spacious and well-maintained but lacked sewer hook up, which was quite inconvenient.
The staff were not very welcoming, and I had trouble getting necessary information upon check-in.
The campground is situated in a lovely area with lots of activities, although the gated entry created some confusion.
The amenities included a nice pool and playground area, but Wi-Fi was poor, making it frustrating to connect.
